how it works

We have put together a short guide explaining how to make the most out of Give or Take. If you have any additional questions please visit our Help centre or you can Contact Us directly, but hopefully this helps you get started.

Generating cashback

• Sign up for FREE to Give or Take in order to create a cashback account with us.
• Use our helpful keyword search tool to find particular stores and products, or browse through our listed categories.
• Follow our link to your chosen store and shop as usual. Your purchases and accumulated cashback will be logged and stored within your Give or Take account.
• We are paid a referral fee by the online store, and we choose to give this fee to you as part of your generated cashback. This means you get 100% of the cashback earned through your custom.
• It can take up to two weeks for the cashback to appear in your account, so please do not be alarmed if you cannot see it immediately. We provide a dispute form if, after two weeks, you believe there is a discrepancy.
• Please remember that you must be signed in, otherwise you will not generate cashback.

Once you have started a FREE account with us, you can choose to either Give or Take your cashback:

Give - Donate the dosh

• We work with a wide range of charities representing several different causes.
• If you would like to donate your cashback, then you can indicate your choice of charity once you have selected the "Give" option in your account details.
• We make monthly payments to any charity that has generated at least £10 cashback from supporters.
• If you donate, then we will waive the £5 admin fee.
• We are always looking out for new charities to support, so if you have any ideas then please let us know at charities@giveortake.com

Take - Bank the cash

• Save as you spend by selecting the "Take" option in your account details.
• We do not earn commission from sales, so we take a £5 fee once you reach your first £25 worth of cashback. All subsequent cashback for the next 12 months is 100% yours.
