Animals Asia Foundation

The Animals Asia Foundation is devoted to the needs of wild, domesticated and endangered species throughout the Asian continent. We?re working to end the barbaric practice of Moon Bear bile farming and rescue these suffering bears. Moon Bears are incarcerated in tiny wire cages, with rusting metal catheters implanted in their abdomens through which bile is extracted for use in Traditional medicine. Medicine that is completely replaceable by herbs and synthetics. We have Moon Bear sanctuaries in China and Vietnam and to date have rescued over 250 bears.
