Beat the credit crunch, and boost the economy with some retail therapy for your ‘January Blues’
The country’s economy is in crisis, the credit crunch is biting, living costs are escalating, spending is decreasing and everybody is broke….Rubbish!
There’s a flip side to every coin. Cost of travel may be high but due to people leaving their gas guzzlers at home and walking congestion has dropped, and so have a few dress sizes as a result. House prices have fallen to a more obtainable level for first time buyers looking to get a foot on the property ladder. Shoppers are now wising up to the true value of goods, and this is where Give or Take comes in. If you are trying to make your money go further then look online for a bargain, couple this with added cashback on your sale and you are already ahead of the game. If you are more concerned for the health of your conscience, than your bank balance then you can stick to that new year’s resolution to ‘do more for charity’ by donating your cashback to a worth cause. It’s a win win situation, every sale made via Give or Take earns you or your chosen charity money, and goes towards boosting our flagging economy….now who said the credit crunch was all bad?…

Yeah exactly! This is what I’ve been thinking too! Another way to look at this is a “correction” and part of that correction is indeed us stopping paying over the odds for things and things becoming a bit more “real”. Hopefully too many more jobs won’t be lost though eh

Some of the DVDs in the Play.com sale are cheaper than renting! I just ordered Cloverfield for £2.99 – at that price, if the film is rubbish then just use the disc as a coaster/mirror/garden-bird-scarer!
